The Wind Gap Police Department consists of seven Officers.

Chief of Police Craig Armitage, who is a twenty-year veteran of the force, heads the department. Assisting Chief Armitage with managing department operations is Robert Pepe, who currently serves in the capacity of sergeant.

The members of the Wind Gap Police Department serve the people in many different ways. Some areas of specialization include; Criminal investigation, Traffic enforcement, Motor Carrier enforcement, accident investigation and many community events. For these events the Police department has a bicycle patrol.

To promote Officer awareness and community involvement the department has a trading card program. This program, although good for all in the community is based in youth relations.

The Wind Gap Police Department provides service to the community with pride, professionalism and integrity. The department stresses fairness to all.
